Liz Petoskey

Liz is currently a junior at Michigan State University, pursuing a degree in Political Science and a degree in Global and Area Studies: Africa. She is also working towards a minor in Women's Studies and a specialization in International Development. Through a Summer 2009 study abroad program, Elizabeth spent time in Ghana, researching topics such as community development, implementation of government policy, health care, and gender disparities. At MSU, she has been involved in activism and campus education for various social justice issues, such as campaigning for reproductive health rights and fundraising for malaria nets in Africa.
