Anna is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Anthropology whose research interests are social movements, human rights, and economic development in Argentina and throughout South America. She recently received grants from MSU's International Studies and Program and the Tinker Foundation for pre-dissertation research. As an undergraduate, Anna participated in a study abroad program in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her undergraduate research focused on medical choices for the growing Hispanic immigrant population in East Tennessee.
