Breanne is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology whose research interests include migration, forced migration, gender, and development in Tanzania and East Africa. In 2007-2008, Bre had a Fulbright Fellowship in Tanzania and previously worked in refugee resettlement with the IRC. She is currently a US/ED Title VI Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship recipient studying Swahili with plans to conduct future research in Tanzania.
